Space Availability

ATTENTION: Following the recently announced Stay In Place order for University of Michigan students through November 3, 2020, study reservations made by undergraduate students will not be honored during this time.

The way you use Shapiro study spaces will be different for Fall 2020. We will provide single-use study space (open tables, study rooms, and computers) by reservation for a maximum of 4 hours per day. Walk-in reservations are welcome.

You may reserve a space up to 7 days in advance.

On the Day of Your Reservation & Study Space Guidelines:

  • As always, wear your face covering, maintain proper physical distancing, and complete your daily ResponsiBlue screening.

  • Access Shapiro Library west entrance with your Mcard

  • Please arrive at your designated reservation time. We will not have waiting space inside the library

  • If someone is at your confirmed seat, kindly show them your confirmation email

  • Study tables are single-use -- no group or paired study

  • No food or drink permitted, with the exception of a water bottle with a closable lid

  • Clean the table with the provided self-service sanitizing supplies at the end of your reservation

  • Please leave at the end of your appointment so that the next reservation can begin on time.
