CVGA Reservation Process for U-M Community Members:
The Computer & Video Game Archive (CVGA) is on the 4th floor in room #4041 of the Shapiro Library on central campus. The online reservation process is open to those who are currently affiliated with the University: Current U-M staff, students & faculty with an active umich email account. Alumni without a current active affiliation are considered guests (see below).
You may reserve a game station up to 14 days in advance for up to 1 hour per day. (Contact us as video.games@umich.edu if you need to make reservations outside of these parameters.) We recommend making reservations at least 24 hours in advance. However, same-day reservations (at least 2 hours in advance) and walk-in reservations are also permitted.
- Click on "Info" next to each station listed below to see which game systems are available for that station. Choose a game station row based on which game system(s) you want to use.
- Click on a desired time in green within that row.
- Click on Submit Times at the bottom of the page.
- Read through our terms and conditions, then click on Continue.
- If you know the games and systems you'll use, enter them in the "Games and Equipment Needed" field. Then click on "Submit my Booking."
